PROFILE

After gaining my 'City and Guilds Trade Certificate First Class' in England many years ago, I went on to complete Stone Masonary and Flintlaying. I have since accumulated over thirty years of experience in many different forms and variations of brick laying.

After leaving the British army I became the proprietor of a small and successful construction business in the South of England. This business tended to specialise in extensions and flintwalls as well as conducting major works for the 'West Sussex County Council' and renovating many Roman and Napoleonic structures around the Chichester area of the U.K..

Upon emigrating to Western Australia in 1992 as a bricklayer, I worked in the cottage industry for a year before moving into commercial brick and stone works for an additional year. Not long after, I set up V. M. Hall Construction, continuing bricklaying and becoming well known for excellent stonework in the industry.

For fourteen months, I lived on Christmas Island, building the hospital and teaching the local Malays the art of stonework and blocklaying.

At present I live in Perth, continuing to provide my clients with the highest standard of workmanship possible in the bricklaying and stonework industry, whilst adhering to either the Council, customer or my own specifications.
